St Boswells Baby, Nursery and Toddlers Group

Welcome to St. Boswells Baby & Toddler Group.

This group which meets in St Boswells is run by a volunteer committee of parents whose children attend the various sections within the group. We are in Partnership with Scottish Borders Council, from which funding is available for children over 3 years of age.

Our Sessions
We are currently able to offer 20 places in our Butterfly session and 15 places in our Caterpillar session.

Butterflies - sessions run Monday - Friday 09.00 - 12.10
Suitable for children aged between 3 & 5 years old.
Cost with funding is 50p per session for snack.
If all funding is used in another setting the cost per session is 10

Caterpillars - Sessions run Wednesdays only from 13.00 - 15.00
Suitable for children aged 2.5 - 3 years old.
Cost per session if not yet funded is 6.00 per session.

Our toddlers session runs every Tuesday morning (during term time) in The Village Hall from 10am - 11.45.
All parents/carers are welcome.
Cost per session is 2.50 per family and includes a snack for the children and a cup or tea/coffee for carers.
We do ask for assistance in setting up this session, making snacks / teas and coffees and packing away.
Please speak to the toddler rep if you can offer any help with this.


We are a friendly and well established nursery, playgroup & toddler group located in St. Boswells in the Scottish Borders.

We are a registered charity providing early years education for children aged 0 to 2.5 yrs via our toddler group, 2.5 - 4 yrs in playgroup & 4 - 5 yrs in nursery....

- All our staff are qualified or working towards qualifications that meet the standards set out by the Scottish Social Services Council.
