Have you ever wanted to try curling? We are always looking for new members to come and join in the fun. All ages and abilities are welcome. The age groups in curling vary dramatically, from the Primary School competition to the “Auld Yins” league. It’s a good way of keeping fit while enjoying yourself. Our Club holds several competitions throughout the season which runs from October to beginning of March. Members can play in as many competitions as they like. If you would like to know more about joining the club, or learning to curl please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Roddy. Check out our website if you want more information. Curling is a very social sport. Most games are followed by a drink and a chat afterwards. We also hold a golf competition once a year, to keep us going through the summer. Coaching sessions are held at the Border Ice Rink if you want to be trained by qualified coaches. These are held at the start of each season, and also throughout the season on Saturday mornings. Contact Border Ice Rink for details. If you wish to know more about curling in Scotland then visit Royal Caledonian Curling Club |
