Dear Mr Neill
I write with the warm and grateful thanks of all the Hospital Administration Team, and the rest of the staff of Chogoria Hospital, for the generous donation from Maxton, Mertoun and St Boswells Church which enabled the hospital to purchase a new industrial-size washing machine for the hospital laundry. It means our laundry can now cope with the workload, and we know that the washing is done well and safely.

As you know, our two old machines were non-functional – one irreparable, and one we only recently managed to repair to half speed. So most of the laundry was being done by hand, to the risk of the staff and the detriment of the linen.

The new machine was dedicated by the Chaplain Rev Iguna and commissioned on 14th June 2006.

Once again, a sincere thank you from us all here for your gift and for responding so generously and promptly to our need.

May you all know the Lord's blessing as you continue to fundraise.
